Choice of legal form

The choice of legal form will result in the type of business you plan to open. The most common legal entities in Spain: Empresario Individual o Autónomo, Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada and Sociedad Anónima.

• The individual entrepreneur (Empresario Individual o Autónomo) is an individual who works on his own, he can hire employees and is fully responsible for profits and losses that activity. typical of the small craftsman or independent professional choice.
• The limited liability company (Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada) however can also be formed by more individuals, it requires more bureaucracy and requires an initial capital of EUR 3,000, however, is only responsible for the company’s capital. • the possibility of renewing a driver’s license (only in extra U.E countries);
