The purpose of the program is to promote the acquisition of alternative energy vehicles: electric, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG / Autogas), compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied gas (LNG), powered by fuel cells and electric motorcycles, thus promoting sustainability in the transport sector, the reduction of CO2 and pollutant emissions and the improvement of air quality, as well as the saving and diversification of energy in the transport sector and the consequent reduction of dependence on oil.
In this way, alternative energy vehicles are presented as an opportunity from the industrial point of view for the implementation, development and manufacture of this type of vehicles and their associated components in Spain, which will allow positioning the Spanish automotive industry in a key technological alternative for the future of the sector.
Self-employed and private companies validly incorporated in Spain at the time of submitting the application will be able to access.
The aid will be up to 18,000 euros depending on the type of vehicle purchased.
The deadline is on the 30th of June 2018.
